June 7, 2010, GuangDong, China – Donation Ceremony of Macau “Project Hope Vocational Education Grant Program” was held in GunagDong Fengkai Xian. Representatives from Meng Tak Charity Association, China Government and Yang Xiao Yu, Deputy Secretary General of China Youth Development Foundation(CYDF) have joined the ceremony with teachers and students of Fengkai Xian Vocational Secondary School. The Meng Tak Charity Association has also decided to donate 50 million yuans to CYDF for 3 more “Project Hope Classes”.
The Meng Tak Charity Association has been donating to CYDF since 2006 to support “Project Hope Vocational Education Program” as it highly appreciates the aim of the program with a belief that equiping a student from a poor family with skills can help solve family proverty problem. The 2007 “Meng Tak Charity Association Project Hope Class” is going to graduate this year. After a deep conversation with CYDF, Meng Tak has decided to donate 50 million yuans to CYDF for launching 3 more “Project Hope Construction Classes”, financing 150 middle-school graduates from rural families suffering from proverty to get vocational education. During two “Project Hope Classes”, besides monetary fund, representatives from Meng Tak Charity Foundation have visited granted students to understand their needs and to provide them with help.

Meng Tak Charity Association is highly praised for launching series of charity activities by Zhu Xiaodao, Deputy General Governor of Guang Dong Province, whose congratulation letter was read out at the ceremony. Zhu hopes that Meng Tak can continue to carry forward humanitarian spirit of the Chinese nation’s traditional virtues of helping the poor, to launch various forms of social assistance to give a hand to people in need.
Wei Yuan Chun and Lin Shu, student participants of the program, went to the ceremony respectively from office and internship unit to express their hearty thanks towards Meng Tak. Wearing in a working uniform, Wei thanked Meng Tak and Project Hope for providing him with such a valuable opportunity to learn some professional skills which pave not only his study and employment, but also a future of hope. Parents involved also expressed their thanks towards the program. The burden bore by families is obviously less with the help from the program. Project Hope and Meng Tak are exactly solving their problems from the root.

Macau Meng Tak Charity Association is a non-profit making charity organization founded in May 2005 aiming at promote the development of elderly, women and children welfare industry in Macau and the Mainland China. It has already launched projects like financing orphans, donating nursing home, financing college students and teachers from vocational schools, providing aid in the construction of schools in rural area and so on over Gunag Dong, Macau and so on.
Meng Tak has been donating to China Youth Development Foundation since 2006 to support “Project Hope Vocational Education Grant Program” financing farmers’ children who are suffering from proverty to study at vocational education school. It respectively launched 2 “Meng Tak Charity Association Project Hope Classes” in 3 vocational schools in Beijing, Guang Dong and Si Chuan, successfully financing 300 children in total to get vocational education. Now, the 2006 “Project Hope Class” has already graduated. Students are employed under the recommendation from schools with two of them get employed in Macau through the recommendation from Meng Tak Charity Association.
